Our family took some 'time aside' before going to China in March/April 2011. We went down in southern Thailand to what was still a fishing village - but there was also a 'missions property' for missionaries who could come aside. Here we spent some days close to the ocean - it was so nice to hear the sound of waves again!
Diane and Joshua went exploring a nearby island that had monkeys. The monkeys liked eating mangoes.
Below is the picture of the island - seen from the missions property. One of our main objectives was to give Joseph - our youngest - some 'family time' with the whole family.
